Annual Project
Helping the Homeless
In 2023 our annual project's focus was to help bring attention to the homeless community's struggles in Topeka and help folks get through the winter.

We raised funds and assembled 36 cold weather survival kits that contained gloves, hats, gaiters, first aid supplies, thermal blankets, and personal care items that were distributed amongst the community by the City of Topeka. We also planned a panel discussion that will be taking place in the first quarter of 2024 discussing the best ways for the community to support those experiencing homelessness.
